Assembled semi-anechoic room
This is a semi-anechoic chamber for commissioned testing, intended for Estec in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture Japan.
It is primarily used for vehicle acoustics measurements.

- Sound absorption wedges: AS sound absorption wedge t500
- Soundproof Door (integrated with sound absorption unit): Effective dimensions W3,800×H3,500
In the center of the room is a surface plate, and towards the back is an exhaust smoke device for automotive exhaust mufflers. The exhaust smoke device utilizes flexible ducts, allowing the device to be moved to the position of each vehicle model’s muffler.
Regarding ventilation and air conditioning, all are designed for soundproofing. For this facility, silencers are designed for air conditioning, ventilation, and exhaust, with ventilation pathways provided both inside and outside the semi-anechoic chamber. This allows for acoustic measurements even when each air conditioning and ventilation device is operational.

Besides the showroom, there are videos of the company introduction and you can visit the factory as well. There are almost no institution opening anechoic room for free in Japan. It can also be used outside of business, such as those who are considering purchasing our products, those who are interested in us, the general public and the media, please come by any chance.
